The earrings and necklaces available on this website are made from fine and sterling silver. 

Fine silver is thin and delicate, and Nicola uses this material to suggest the movement and folds of fabric. As fabric is malleable, this jewellery is also malleable if too much pressure is applied to it. Fine silver is even more precious than sterling silver, with 99.9% purity. The jewellery you purchase should be handled like the precious object it is. 

Fine silver can become dull over time. To brighten, gently wash in warm soapy water, rinse and let air dry. You can also gently run a silver polishing cloth over the fine silver. 

Sterling silver will oxidise over time. To remove oxide, gently run a silver polishing cloth over the sterling silver.
