These brooches were first exhibited in the PIN 10 exhibition at ANCA Gallery in Dickson, Canberra, ACT from 4 to 13 September 2025.
They are made of fine and sterling silver and measure as follows:
Arc brooch: 30(h)x65(w)x10(d)mm
Coil brooch: 50(h)x55(w)x10(d)mm
Circle brooch: 60(h)x60(w)x10(d)mm

My practice explores the materiality of fine silver sheet metal that I manipulate to suggest the movement and folds of fabric.
In this series, I coiled fine silver ‘ribbons’ around simple sterling silver forms. The aim was to elevate these simple shapes by imbuing them with a sense of subtle opulence.
