This is a collar necklace, made to sit snugly around the neck and on top of the collarbone. The hook that joins the two ends of this necklace can be moved to adjust the length of the necklace.
This necklace is made from fine silver sheet with a handmade sterling silver chain. The ruffled sheet of this necklace is thin and delicate, made to imitate fabric. As fabric is malleable, the ruffled silver sheet is also malleable if too much pressure is applied to it.
Fine silver is even more precious than sterling silver with 99.9% purity. This necklace should be handled like the precious object it is.
