This brooch appeared in the Dialogue exhibition which took place from 13 April to 7 May 2023 at M16 Artspace in Canberra. It is made from sterling silver, and measures 5 x 4.5 x 0.5 cm.
Dialogue was an exhibition by Nicola and her fellow ANU graduates Saskia Den Brinker, Jonathon Zalakos and Cathy Zhang. Saskia, Nicola, Jonathon and Cathy met in the ANU’s Gold & Silversmithing workshop in 2018. After leaving the workshop behind—and missing the camaraderie, inspiration and influence that is a feature of a shared space—they decided to challenge each other to extend their practices. The result was Dialogue.
